Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2006). Michael's dissertation examines the long term effects of preschool intervention, the relationship between job promotions and health, and the effects of light trucks on traffic fatalities. His current projects analyze the relationship between restaurants and obesity, the effects of traffic congestion on heart attacks, and the economic benefits of improving automobile efficiency. As a RWJ Scholar, he continues to study the social and environmental determinants of health outcomes.
